Dr Johnson
Dr. Alice Ward-Johnson (Center Director) is a dedicated and friendly educator with extensive experience in teaching and mentoring students of all ages. With advanced degrees in Education and over 18 years of experience, she has served as an elementary and middle school teacher, high school principal, college professor, and tutor in math, English, and Abacus. Dr. Johnson is passionate about fostering literacy skills from kindergarten to 8th grade, collaborating with school leaders and teaching courses at a local university on various educational topics. She also contributes to a national research study while finding immense joy in helping children across the country achieve "Aha!" moments in reading and math, making her work incredibly rewarding for students and parents.

Ms Blakely
Hello, everyone! My name is Amanda Blakely, and I am excited to be your child’s teacher and tutor. I have 14 years of experience in grades 3rd-6th grade. My education includes a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington, and I am currently working on another master’s degree from Lamar University in Clinical Mental Health.
