I graduated with a degree in Actuarial Mathematics from Wayne State University in 2019. I have tutored/taught for the last 4 years for all grades K-12 math. Math is my favorite subject and I enjoy explaining concepts to learners. I enjoy reading, music and playing video games.

I have been teaching in the Novi Community School District for 23 years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in literacy. Language arts is my passion, and I recently completed LETRS certification, deepening my expertise in the science of reading.

I am also a proud mom of two daughters. Makenna is studying radiology at Ferris State University, and Alexa is a senior at South Lyon High School. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Hi! I’m Ms. Brittney, and I’m so excited to support your child’s learning journey. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Oakland University, with a focus on English Language Arts, and I love helping students build confidence and grow their skills in a fun, engaging way.

When I’m not tutoring, you’ll find me baking sourdough bread for my micro-bakery, Loaf & Lovely, or spending summer days at local farmers markets. At home, I have a lovable dog named Ryder who keeps me busy with cuddles and squirrel-chasing adventures.

I’m passionate about helping every student reach their academic goals while making learning feel positive, encouraging, and even a little fun along the way. I can’t wait to work with your child!
