We enrolled our child at Best Brains Learning Center after trying Kumon for about a year, where we unfortunately saw very little progress. The material at Kumon felt highly repetitive, and it didn’t really help address our child’s need for additional support in English.

After just 4 months at Best Brains, we started noticing a significant improvement in his reading, writing, and vocabulary. One of the biggest differences is the teaching approach — a teacher actively sits with the child and provides guidance, which has been a critical factor in his progress.

He also genuinely enjoys the homework books, which is something we didn’t expect! The math program is especially impressive — about 50% of the problems are designed to be tricky and encourage kids to think outside the box, rather than just follow repetitive patterns.
