Meet Ms. Priya – Certified Math, Coding & Technology Instructor

Since our Grand Opening in September, Ms. Priya has been a driving force behind student success at Best Brains Redmond Northeast. As one of our lead instructors in Math, Coding, and Technology, she brings expertise, structure, and an unwavering commitment to helping students thrive.

In her own words:

“I am passionate about teaching and helping students build strong academic foundations. At Best Brains, I focus on providing individualized attention and structured guidance to support each child’s unique learning needs. As a full-time teacher, I bring experience, patience, and dedication to help students grow with confidence. What motivates me most is seeing their steady progress and knowing I am making a meaningful difference in their academic journey.”

Ms. Priya believes that confidence is built through mastery — and mastery comes from consistent support, thoughtful instruction, and high expectations. Her classroom is structured, engaging, and designed to help students strengthen core skills while developing problem-solving abilities that last a lifetime.

Meet Ms. Yongyan - Lead Abacus Instructor & Certified Math & Coding Instructor

Ms. Yongyan has been an invaluable member of the Best Brains Redmond Northeast family since our Grand Opening in September. As our Lead Abacus Instructor and Senior Math Teacher, she brings exceptional expertise, years of teaching experience, and a passion for helping students build a strong mathematical foundation with confidence.

In her own words:

"I am a certified Mathematics and Computer Science teacher with experience teaching middle school, high school, and college-level mathematics, as well as leading SAT Math Bootcamps. I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, and I truly enjoy helping students discover that math is something they can understand, enjoy, and succeed in. My goal is to make challenging concepts simple and approachable while supporting each student at their individual level. I am passionate about building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and developing the critical-thinking skills that students need to excel both inside and outside the classroom. I am proud to be part of Best Brains Learning Center because of its commitment to academic excellence and its structured approach to learning. I look forward to helping every student grow, achieve their goals, and reach their fullest potential."

Whether teaching foundational math concepts, advanced problem-solving techniques, or Abacus, she is dedicated to helping every child develop the skills, confidence, and love of learning that lead to lifelong success.

Meet Ms. Riya - Coding Instructor

Ms. Riya has been inspiring young innovators at Best Brains Redmond Northeast as our Lead Coding Instructor. With a strong background in software engineering and a passion for teaching, she helps students develop computational thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills through engaging, hands-on coding experiences.

In her own words:

"I'm Riya Jain, a coding instructor who loves helping students discover the fun and creative side of programming. With a Bachelor's degree and a background in software engineering, I bring real-world experience and a practical approach to every class. Teaching at Best Brains gives me the opportunity to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and introduce students to the exciting world of technology. There's nothing more rewarding than watching young learners gain confidence as they create, experiment, overcome challenges, and realize they're capable of achieving more than they ever imagined. I love that Best Brains gives me the opportunity to inspire young minds and watch their confidence grow with every class."

Ms. Riya believes that coding is more than just learning a programming language—it's about developing the confidence to think critically, solve problems creatively, and embrace innovation. Her engaging teaching style encourages students to explore, experiment, and build the skills they'll need to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Meet Ms. Kezhia

Certified Math, English & Science Instructor

Ms. Kezhia has been a valued member of the Best Brains Redmond Northeast family since our Grand Opening in September. As a Washington State Certified Teacher in Math, English, and Science, she brings exceptional expertise, a strong academic foundation, and a passion for inspiring students to achieve their very best. She teaches Math, English, and our hands-on Science Lab program, helping students develop both academic excellence and a love for learning.

In her own words:

"I am a dedicated educator with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. I previously served as a Lecturer at Avinashilingam University in India, where I fostered engaging learning environments that encouraged critical thinking, active participation, and student success. I hold a Master of Science (M.S.) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Physics from Avinashilingam University. I am also a Washington State Certified Teacher with endorsements in Elementary Education, Mathematics, English, and Science. In addition, I currently work as a Certified Substitute Teacher in the Lake Washington School District, gaining valuable experience teaching students across diverse grade levels and classroom settings. As a Math and English Instructor, I strive to make learning engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. My goal is to help students strengthen their foundational skills, build confidence, and achieve their full academic potential through patient guidance, personalized instruction, and a positive learning environment."

Ms. Kezhia believes that every child can thrive when learning is engaging, personalized, and encouraging. Her warm, student-centered teaching style empowers children to think critically, ask questions, and build confidence in their abilities. Whether teaching Math, English, or leading exciting Science Lab experiments, she is committed to helping every student develop the knowledge, skills, and curiosity needed to succeed both in the classroom and beyond.
