Ms Kim
π Meet Ms. Kim π
Hello Families!
It’s hard to believe that I’ve been in education for over 30 years! From Sunday School to Saturday School, and from public to private schools, I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all ages—something I truly cherish.
I absolutely love being a teacher, and I also enjoy expressing my creativity through writing poetry and cooking. In my free time, you’ll usually find me enjoying coffee, cookies, and STARS! β (Feel free to ask the students about my love for stars π)
I’m so happy to be part of the Best Brains family, working with such wonderful students and staff. I look forward to continuing this amazing journey together!
— Ms. Kim

Ms Kelsee
π Meet Ms. Kelsee π
Hello Families!
I’ve been teaching children since Fall 1999 and have had the opportunity to work with students ranging from infants to fifth grade. I currently teach 4th and 5th graders during the day.
One of the things I love most about teaching is seeing students make connections between new learning and the task in front of them. Those “ah-ha” moments are what it’s all about!
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends and attending musicals with my son. I prefer Mercury coffee and a croissant for breakfast, and my favorite snacks include Cheddar & Sour Cream Ruffles with a Cherry Pepsi, dark chocolate, or Hi-Chews. My favorite color is purple, and I love the scent of lilac.
Hearing about my students’ passions always makes me smile π

Ms Nona
π Meet Ms. Nona π
Hello Families!
I have been a teacher for 27 years and am now retired. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach a wide range of classes, including Special Education, elementary school, middle school (grades 6–8) Language Arts, and high school (grades 9–10) Language Arts and History. I’ve also truly enjoyed teaching elementary science!
Some of my favorite activities include taking outdoor photos during hiking trips, going to the beach, and riding my horse. My favorite colors are shades of blue and pink, and I love trying all kinds of food and learning about different cultures.
I truly believe that my students have taught me just as much as I’ve taught them—they’ve helped me become a better teacher every day!
— Ms. Nona

Mr Sai
π Meet Sai π
Hello Families!
My name is Sai, and I’m an incoming freshman at the University of Washington Bothell, where I’ll be studying engineering.
In my free time, I enjoy photography, watching movies, and playing soccer. I’m currently teaching Abacus at Best Brains, where I help young students develop strong mental math skills that build a solid foundation for their math journey.
I’m excited to be part of the Best Brains team and look forward to supporting our students as they grow and succeed!
