I coached a team that won back-to-back championships in Florida, and one the players is now in the NBA playing for the Sacramento Kings. I enjoy reading and serving God. I have a belief that all students can learn anything that’s put in front of them.

Hi there! I’m Marqutia Locke, a passionate early childhood educator with over 20 years of experience. Teaching and watching young minds grow brings me so much joy. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my husband and our two wonderful kids.

Favorite Food :  I’m all about comfort food. Chicken Alfredo is my favorite!

Favorite Holiday :  I absolutely love Christmas,it’s my favorite time of year to celebrate, relax, and enjoy family traditions.

Fun Facts :  I was born on March 19th, which is extra special because I share it with my mom!

Favorite Animal : When it comes to animals, peacocks and otters are at the top of my list. I love their beauty, playfulness, and unique personalities. They always bring a smile to my face!

I have over four years of teaching experience in schools, and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education as well as a Master's degree in Science. Teaching has always been my passion, and I take pride in helping students build confidence and develop a strong foundation in learning. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where every child can thrive. I love spending time with my family and  a sweet 7-year-old mama’s boy who keeps life joyful and full of energy.
