Annual Contest Day-2025 – Math Contest AND Speech Contest and Kids' Business fair. 

EventDetails:

  • Date: Sunday Nov 9, 2025
  • Time: Check-in at 10:00 AM
  • Location: National India Hub, 930 National Pkwy, Schaumburg, IL 60173
    (when you enter in main lobby, please take elevator to Second Floor)

Contests &Opportunities:

  1. Math Contest
  • Grades: 1-8
  • Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each grade level
  • Over view –

1)   Students will receive a test on paper, that matches the grade that they are currently attending at school.

2)   Everyone will start writing the test at the same time. 

3)   No two kids of same grade will sit next to each other. 

4)   Presented in standardized-test format - 

·      Multiple-choice questions which will need critical thinking and problem solving skills. 

·      40 questions per test.

·      Calculators not permitted.

5)   Test proctors will monitor the kids during the test.

6)   Awards ceremony done on the same day.

7)   Open to Best Brains families and the public.

  1. Speech Contest
    • Grades: 1-8
    • Preparation: Topics will be emailed after registration.  Duration of speech is 2 min.
    • Awards: 1st place in each grade level
    • Judges Will Be Looking For:  Introduction , Organization , Content Details, Voice & Volume , Expression & Engagement , Body Language & Eye Contact  and Timing.

  2. Children's Business Fair (NO MORE new Registrations. It is FULL )

    o   Grades: 5-12

    o   Come with your products (which you have made by your own ideas). Set up a beautiful booth, engage clients and sell items.

o   Maintain a sale register for booth's sale.

o   No elders are allowed on the booth. A friend/helper of same age is allowed.

 

Registration Details:

  • Early Bird Discount: $20 per contest per student until OCT 30, 2025
  • After OCT 30 th: $25 per contest per student

ToDo onContest-Day:

  • Math Contest: Bring an eraser, clipboard, sharpened pencils, and a sharp mind!
  • Speech Contest: Prepare and Practice your speech before coming to venue. Topics will be emailed after registration is completed.
  • Business Fair: Bring your products, cash, notebook, and booth décor

Schedule:

  • 10:00 AM: Check-in and seating
  • 10:15 AM: Math contest starts
    • 10:15 AM: Parents Discussion Panel , Free time/games.
  • 11:00 AM : Math Grading starts
    • 11:00 AM: Speech workshop for Speech Participants Starts
  • 11:15 AM : Business fair starts and ends at 12:30 pm. 
  • 11:30 AM: Lunch break (Food available for purchase)
  • 12:30 PM: Speech Contest starts
  • 1:30 PM: Award Ceremony for all contests
  • 2:30 PM: Closing and cleanup

ExtraFun:

Parents and children (who are NOT participating in contests) can join the Best Brains Panel Session and team games.

This seems like a perfect opportunity for kids to showcase their skills, gain experience, and have fun doing it.
