Our Teachers

Brandi Timmons
My name is Bandi Timmons and I am one of the teachers who will be
tutoring your child at Best Brains Teaching. I have been teaching in the school setting for the past nine years, and will be going into my tenth year of
teaching in the Rogers Public Schools district. My experience crosses a range of
grade levels, starting from Kindergaten all the way until Middle school. In addition, I have a daughter who just completed eighth grade,
and so I have experience in helping her in all subject areas as well. I have a
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in
Curriculum and Instruction. Recently, I obtained my certification in English as a
Second Language. One of my strengths is having the ability to differentiate
learning for the individual student, and seeing high growth results in both reading
and math for all students. Teaching is the most rewarding profession because I
believe I can make a huge difference in a child’s life.

Jessica Traylor
Mrs. Jessica Traylor is in her 13 year of teaching. I have taught 3rd-6th grade in person. This is her 6th year at Arkansas Connections Academy, a virtual public school. Jessica graduated from College of the Ozarks in Missouri with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Emphasis.
Mrs. Traylor believes that all children deserve the time and attention to be successful in every aspect of life. Being a teacher, I am able to inspire children to reach their full potential. I want to help them see that in themselves and overcome what life hands them. Mrs. Traylor says, "Their destiny is in their hands and it starts when they are young! I love seeing a child recognize/realize their potential and start using it!"
Mrs. Traylor is the middle child of five! I love being around people! I enjoy being outside. Swimming and hiking with their corgis are my favorite outdoor activities. I have six pets! One of my favorite things to do is hang out with my husband, watch movies, and cuddle with my pets.

Valerie Hamilton
Hello Best Brains Families! It’s my honor to tutor your students. My name is Valerie Hamilton. When not tutoring or teaching, I enjoy reading, playing with my cats, taking walks, and traveling!
I graduated in 2019 with a bachelors in science from Kent State University. After this, I started long term subbing and absolutely fell in love with teaching. I returned back to school and received a masters from Grand Canyon University in Elementary Education.
I moved to Arkansas in 2021, and have taught in Founders Classical Academy of Rogers since 2022. I teach 3rd grade there, but have lots of experience with grades kindergarten through 6th grade through subbing in 2019 through 2021.
I love helping students reach their goals and believe all students are capable of doing hard work! I love when students start to understand difficult material! It gives me joy and I love seeing the sense of accomplishment wash over the students’ faces when they do hard things.
