Fun Easter Activities for Kids
It’s finally that time of year! The flowers are blooming, the air is getting warmer, and the serotonin is flowing; it’s spring!. With that comes the quintessential springtime holiday, Easter. If you’re looking for some fun and unique ways to celebrate Easter with your kiddos, look no further. Here are some of our hand-picked crafts, activities, and games for you to enjoy with your whole family this weekend.
Egg and Spoon Race
This one is a classic, so we couldn’t pass it up! If you’ve never heard of it, an egg and spoon race is a game where participants place an egg in a spoon and try to race with it in their hand. The only catch is that the egg must not fall! We recommend hard-boiled eggs for this one if you want to avoid a tedious cleanup.
Jellybean Guessing Game
I don’t know about you, but I always end up with a ton of jellybeans leftover from Easter baskets. Instead of throwing them away, we recommend throwing them into a jar and having a competition to see who can guess the most jellybean flavors correctly. Note: you will want to take note of the flavors and their colors when you buy the package.
Plant flowers
There is nothing like some gorgeous flowers to emulate the joy of the spring season! This is the perfect activity to do with your kiddos this weekend to get them geared up for the beauty and blossoming of spring.
Eggshell Mosaic
Once you've enjoyed some hard-boiled eggs in the Easter spirit, don’t throw away those leftover eggshells! Collect the colored eggshells, paper, and glue so your child can create the perfect mosaic art out of them.
We hope you all have a fantastic Easter weekend. While we love to see our students take time with their families, we must admit that we cannot wait to have them back at our center after spring break. Happy Easter!
